The IRSL (Intelligent Robotic Systems Laboratory) within the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the
Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) focuses on researching robotics systems. Specifically,
the lab investigates general robot problems, particularly those related to the physical interaction between robots and mobility.
When combining physical interaction issues with mobility, the lab addresses a wide range of challenges in various
areas of robotics research, including design, modeling, control, state estimation, perception, and planning.
